Known as Thapa Peak Dhampus Peak is a straightforward ascent situated in the North-East of Dhaulagriri massif. Overwhelming elevation with divergent Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges view makes Dhampus Peak impressive. It’s the only place which exposes the best scenery of these ranges. Being at the extreme elevation you can feel Tukuche Peak (6920m) and Dhaulagiri (8167m) their regal presence. During climbing expedition you not only view divergent ranges of mountains but also experience Nepalese culture especially Gurung, Thakali with warm hospitality.

Mountains between seven and eight thousand meters like Mt. Dhaulagiri (8167m), Mt. Annapurna I (8091)m, Annpurna II (7739m), Annapurna III (7555m), Annapurna IV (7525m), Annapurna south (7219m), Hiunchuli (6441m), Machhapuchhare (6998m), Mt. Nilgiri (7040m), Lamjung Himal (6988m), Tukuche peak (6920m) etc Peak are standing in south. Dhampus Peak is probably the the best point to observe Annapurnas. Climbing of Dhampus Peak is easy in grade but prior experience in climbing will be advantage.

As Himalaya Thunder Treks plans the trip begains from Kathmandu with warm welcome and city tour around valley. After Kathmandu climbing Dhampus Peak trip moves to Pokhara and finds its way from Nayapul (1070m) with a short trek to Tikhedhunga (1480). Climbing team passes through Ghorepani (2800) with a Sun rise view from Poon hill (3200m), Tatopani (1190m), Ghasa (2010m), Larjung (2550m), Marpha (2670m), Yak Kharka (3680m) and finally summits Dhampus Peak (6012m). Day 2:Sight Seen around Kathmandu Valey

Day 3:Drive to Pokhara, by bus/car/van

Day 4:Drive to Nayapul (1070m) & trek to Tikhedhunga (1480m.)

Day 5:Trek to Ghorepani (2800m)

Day 6:Sun rise Poon hill (3200m) & trek to Tatopani (1190m)

Day 7:Trek to Ghasa (2010m)

Day 8:Trek to Larjung (2550m)

Day 9:Trek to Marpha (2670m)

Day 10:Trek to Yak Kharka (3680m)

Day 11:Trek to Dhampus Base Camp (5100m)

Day 12:Trek to High Camp (5600m)

Day 13:Summit Dhampus Peak (6012m) & back to Base Camp

Day 14:Explore Base Camp

Day 15:Trek to Yak Kharka (3680m)

Day 16:Trek to Marpha (2670m)

Day 17:Trek to Jomsom (2710m)

Day 18:Morning flight to Pokhara & Sight Seen Pokhara

Day 19:Drive to Kathmandu by bus/car/van
