Day to Day Itinerary

Day 1:Flight to Lhasa
Himalaya Thunder Team welcomes you at the arrival in Lhasa (Gonggar) airport. It's acclimatization day after short drive.

Day 2:Sight Seen at Lhasa
Starting frim Potala Palace, the iconic Tibetan monument the day explores Jokhang Temple, the holiest one. With constant bustle, dazzling paraphernalia of worship, flickering butter lamps in monasteries and temple, experience the fascinating Barkhor Street, where lifestyle meets religious tradition.

Day 3:Explore Lhasa
This day you are visiting Drepung Monastery, was a richest Monastery with four colleges and 10,000 monks. From here you can view stunning Mt. Gambo Utse and the Lhasa City. Another destination Sera Monastery is famous with warrior monks and Norbulingka was summer palace of the Dalai Lama. With several palaces, chapels, and buildings it presents rich history of Tibet.

Day 4:Explore Namtso Lake
With a short drive this day trip explores second largest salt water Lake of Chinese autonomous region Tibet. Namtso Lake is the biggest lake at the highest elevation setting. Namtso is a sacred & Buddhist pilgrimage site with Zhaxi Temple and beautiful scenery. En route we will meet Nomad Families.

Day 5:Flight to Kathmandu
The day finally tour concludes with Kathmandu flight back. After arriving at Kathmandu we had memorable dinner at Nepali Chulo.
