Mustang is very popular destination of Nepal which is known as the place of god and it is clearly seen through various ancient monuments. It is believed that this holy land used to have many god and goddess, where many remaining of many natural holy places which still believed to the creation of god in the past. Once people at Mustang feel like they are in Tibet, live culture, all the rituals and activities of Tibetan Buddhism, many natural and man made cave, stunning red, white, gray & orange cliffs in artistic design, these becomes attraction of Upper Mustang. Mustang has been opened to the foreigners recently. Mustang is regarded as the forbidden kingdom.

There are big Monasteries in each and every village still practicing daily rituals which monastery either private or community base mostly they follow Shakyapa, Gelupkpa and Ningmapa sect of Tinetan Buddhism. Great Lamas keep coming to teach and do the rituals like sand Mandala worshiping, Mahankala puja etc. Three guardian deity protected land Mustang where so many ruined chortens, different paintings, ancient script and daily life style of Lobas people.

Many Stunning red, white, Orange cliffs and hills, highly secret Monastery, Chortens, Ancient natural man made Cave, different painting and Kingship of Mustangi King, still in great honor. Willow and popular trees, Apple orchid are commonly cultivated in most of the village of Upper Mustang. They grow Potatoes, Barley and buckwheat. They have also assimilated animal husbandry like sheep, goat, yak and Mustang Horse. The great massif of Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, Manaslu, visible in southern skyline in the first part of trek in one hand and another hand many artistic cliffs in different color which gives great feeling in the mind when they are at Mustang.

Day to Day Itinerary

Day 1:Arrive in Kathmandu. Pick up you from International airport and transfer to Hotel. Trip briefing and introduction.

Day 2:Guided Tour in Kathmandu valley and trip preparation.

Day 3:Kathmandu – Pokhara by private transportation and transfer to Hotel in Pokhara

Day 4:Early in the morning fly Pokhara – Jomsom. Trek to Kagbeni (2810m – 4 hours) overnight at tea house

Day 5:Trek Kagbeni – Chele (3050m). Overnight at camp

Day 6:Trek Chele – Geling (3570m) camp

Day 7:Trek Geling – Tsarang (3560m) camp

Day 8:Trek Tsarang – Lo-Manthang (3810m) camp

Day 9:Exploration Lo-Manthang.

Day 10:Trek to Ghami

Day 11:Trek to Samar

Day 12:Trek to Kagbeni

Day 13:Trek to Marpha

Day 14:Trek to Tatopani

Day 15:Drive to Pokhara

Day 16:Drive to Kathmandu
