Tilicho is the lake situated on highest location. This is referred as the highest lake of the world. It's the dazzling location on Annapurna region with altitude of 5000 meters. The trek to Tilicho Lake passes through a part of the famous Annapurna Circuit rout, from Manang it'll set off towards Khangsar and Mesokantu La instead of Thorang-La pass.
From Manangthe, this trek transforms as camping until footstep to Jomsom. It takes 12 days beginning from Kathmandu and end in Pokhara exploring Tilicho Lake. With experience of the worlds highest lake and its environment trek explores Himalayan life. It is suggested that spend at least one day in between Manang and Tilicho Base Camp to feel the thrill with Himalayan life and get a closer look to nature, life and people. It's pretty stiff than Annapurna Circuit Trekking.
Day 1:Drive - Beshishar (760 m) or Bulbule (840 m)
Day 2:Trek - Syanje (1100 m) duration: 6 hours
Day 3:Trek Tal (1700 m) duration: 6 – 7 hours
Day 4:Tal - Thanchok (2500 m) takes 6 – 7 hours
Day 5:Thanchok - Pisang (3200 m) duration: 6 – 7 hours
Day 6:Trek to Manang (3540 m) duration: 4 hours
Day 7:Trek to Tilicho peak hotel (includes halfway Khangsar and Tilicho Base Camp, 4000 m) duration: 5 hours
Day 8:Trek to Tilicho Base Camp (camping-whole night in tent, 4140 m) duration: 3 - 5 hours
Day 9:Trek to Tilicho (duration: 3 hours) Rest at the location and explore Tilicho Lake on afternoon (camping at night sleeping in tent)
Day 10:Cross Mesokunto pass (5200 m) & overnight camping at Kharka – Nama Phu, trek duration: 5 – 10 hours
Day 11:Trek to Jomsom (2713 m) duration: 4 - 6 hours
Day 12:Morning flight from Jomsom to Pokhara trip ends
