Trisuli River Rafting is the excellent way to observe diversity of whitewater wilderness. With various demography, landscapes, and cultural heritage as well as flora and fauna it’s the major river for rafting in Nepal. It’s the river which hosts 70% of all commercial rafting of Nepal. Lies in a short distance from Kathamandu this is the obvious choice for them who have limited time in Nepal as well as looking for short rafting with cheapest price.
Trishuli River has some rapids of medium difficulty class 3+ and good scenery though it's hardly wilderness the main road to Kathmandu follows it’s the entire way and campsites can be noisy. Numerous exciting rapids as Snail's nose, Teendevi, Malekhu rapid, Monkey rapid, Upset, Surprise, Monsoon, Cotton Pony, Ladies Delight, S-Bend, Highway, Monsoon and Pinball Rapid makes rafting exciting as well as challenging.
During monsoon, Trishuli River presents more challenging trip, with powerful rapids and whirlpools. In October and November its bank seems crowed with rafters. You can combine it with your Chitwan and Pokhara visit.
Day 1:Drive from Kathmandu to Charaudi
About 4 hours drive from Kathmandu by bus drops at put- in point Charaudi about 85 km in distance. Trip leader brief about river, rapids and safety with warm ups. Presence of divergent rapids makes this the best for white waterrafting. After 2 hours rafting, we make a lunch and continue again till Kurintar. Over night stay in camp there. This trip hits few class 2 or 3 rapids often called "LADISE DELIGHT", "UPSET" and "SURPRISE."
Day 2:Rafting Day
Trip commences after breakfast and continues up to lunch break. It resume after lunch and trip ends at pachkilo. You can either return to Kathmandu or proceed to Pokhara or Royal Chitwan National Park.
Day 3:Drive to Chitwan,Pokhara or Kathmandu
Trip commences after breakfast and continues up to lunch break. With hits of class 2 or 3 rapids "BIJILI RAPID" and "TEA POT"trip stops for lunch. Resuming after lunch trip reaches at out point Simaltal, from where you can plan for Chitwan or Pokhara as well as drive back to Kathmandu.
