The Tsum valley is a sacred Himalayan pilgrimage valley situated in the trans-himalayan region behind Mt. Manaslu and set against the majestic backdrop of the Ganesh himal, Sringi himal and Baudha himal. Tsum is derived from the Tibetan word Tsombo which mean vivid. Tsum valley traditionaly is a very distinct place geographically and culturally called “Tsum Tso Chuksum” meaning the thirteen provinces ruled as a single territory.

Tsum valley is unexplored so many religious and archeological relics are still intact at many places. Tsum valley comprises of two valleys Chhekampar village as the upper Tsum and Chumchet the lower Tsum. Tsum valley has been a remote area far away from the modern approach of the science and technology development holding the age old pure and unique culture.People here practice polyandry system with unique culture, tradition and a dialect of their own. Lhosar, Dhacyhang, Saka Dawa, Faning among others are festivals observed here.

The local people here are mostly of the Tibetan origin with their own dialect. Tsum valley has a long history of Buddhism. The Buddhist saint Milarepa is believed to have meditated in the caves of their mountains. The residents of Tsum valley are called Tsumbas. The most interesting fact is that many Tsumbas have claimed to have seen or encountered “Mehti,” most commonly referred as the ‘Yeti’.

Day 3:Drive to Aarughat in gorkha and trek to arkhet bazaar.

Day 4:Trek to Machhakhola

Day 5:Trek to Yarukhola

Day 6:Trek to Lokpa

Day 7:Trek to Chumling

Day 8:Trek to Chhokangparo

Day 9:Trek to Nile/ chhule visit Milarepa Piren Phu cave

Day 10:Trek to Mu Gompa visit Dhephyudonma Gompa

Day 11:Trek to Rachen Gompa, visit Gonhgye Gompa

Day 12:Trek to Dumje

Day 13:Trek to Philim

Day 14:Trek to Tatopani

Day 15:Trek to Labubeshi

Day 16:Trek to Aarughat

Day 17:Drive to Kathmandu

Day 18:Nagarkot hill sunrise view and Bhaktapur sightseeing and Farewell dinner with cultural dance
