Marshyangdi River Rafting Marshyangdi River starts with a convergence of two mountain rivers Khangsar Khola and Jharsang Khola, located at the north-west of Annapurna massif with an altitude of 3600 meters. Marshyangdi river flows eastward through out Manang and then southward through the territory of Lamjung and Tanahun districts finally meets Trishuli at Mugling of Chitwan.

Marshyangdi River is a magnificent blue whitewater river. The class 4-5 whitewater is called technical river demands dedication of crew and guide for rafting and kayaking as well. Kayakers around the globe rave about Marshyangdi. Its rafting trip starts from near Khudi, along the Annapurna circuit trekking, downward to the Prithivi Highway. Marshyangdi River is predominantly seems attractive at the month of November, when its level reasonably low with clear mountain views.

Trip day to day itinerary

Day 1: About 7 hours bus drive to Besisahar from Kathmandu. Trek to Khudi and set up Camp with necessary expedition gears. It’s the best place to sight magnificent Himalayan surroundings especially at sunset. Stay overnight at camp.

Day 2: Trek to Nagdi from Khudi and back to Khudi by raft. After breakfast, team starts trek to Bhulbule about a couple of hours. With lunch here you will be trained by expedition leader especially about safety, rapids and paddling. This is the most knuckle enthralling segment of Marshyangdi River enjoying rapids this day concludes at Khudi with dinner and overnight at camp.

Day 3: The adventure-rafting trip starts from Khudi with constant bumping into the rapids. It's up to sandy beach at the beneath of Besisahar for this day.You have to be prepared constant bumping into river for another day too. Tackling with crystal blue water rapids you will be provided lunch. Diner and night stay at camp on sandy beach.

Day 4: After having breakfast another constant bumping starts into whitewater again. The river is squeezed between vertical walls, river relaxes, and rapids became open at Phaliya Sanghu. We conclude this day at Bhotewodar with camping on the banks near to the cave of a Shiva temple.

Day 5: We start rafting from Bhotewodar this morning with smooth rapids of the river. Through high walled gorge with breathtaking experience of nature and river excitement we finally reach at our closing stages after 47km constant bumping into rapids. At Bimal Nagar trip ends with lunch from where you can carry your journey to Pokhara or Chitwan.
