To reach Panauti you will have to reach different beautiful cities like Banepa and Sanga. Panauti is situated at the confluence of two rivers Rosi and Punyamati. Panauti Jatra is the nine-day festival. It starts off on the 10th day of the bright fortnight of Jyestha (May-June) and ends on the 3rd day of the dark fortnight in Ashad (June-July). It is a combination of the palanquin and chariot festivals.
