Mera Peak Climbing Mera Peak (6654m) is the prime as well as highest climbing destination in Nepal. Standing in Everest region its setting persists with technical difficulty needs axe skills. Rises to the South of Everest it dominates scenic wooded valleys, the Hinku and Hongu. Summit of the Mera Peak you can view one of the finest Himalayas with five 8000m plus peaks: Mt. Everest (8848m), Cho-Oyu (8201m), Lhotse (8516m), Makalu (8463m) and Kangchenjunga (8586m). Along with these spectacular Nuptse (7855m) and Chamlang (7319m) also can capture in memory.

In 20th May, 1953 Jimmy Roberts and Sen Tensing made the successful summit on the Mera Peak Trek through Mera La pass (5415m) the northern side. After their successful summit the route became standard involves high altitude glacier walking. Day 03: Fly to Lukla (2800m), trek to Chutanga (3050m.)

Day 04: Trek to Zatrabok (4704m.) via Zatrawala Pass (4610m.) and camping

Day 05: Trek to Tangnang (4356m)

Day 06: Explore Thangnang

Day 07: Trek to Dig Kharka (4659m.) and camping

Day 08: Trek to Khare (5045m.) and camping

Day 09: Explore Khare

Day 10: Trek Mera La Pass (5350m.) and camping

Day 11: Trek to Mera Peak High Camp

Day 12: Climb High Camp (5780m.)

Day 13: Summit Mera Peak and return to Khare and camping
