A week full of adventure, joy and mostly laughter

We had the luck to be presented to Ajaya by a friend of ours, that has also done trekkings with Ajaya before and was really happy with him and his company. We went on a Trekking for 6 days and were accompanied by Ajaya, his son Pranish who, like his father, had so much knowledge and was always happy to share it with us and our very funny and truly amazing porter Kalyan. In only six days we have seen so much, the landscape in the nepali mountains is truly breathtaking! But not only did he show us the mountains and the landscape but also made us familiar with nepali culture and was always exited to show us “the real Nepal”. Ajaya and his crew always had something to tell and learn us about their culture, it was their priority to show us how real nepali live is and by little things like making us taste local fruits or singing nepali songs, we gained lots of knowledge. Not only could we enjoy the trekking during the day but also in the evening, playing nepali card games with Ajaya and his crew for hours that me and my family enjoyed very much. After the six days of trekking, Ajaya invited us to visit his family and we had the chance of getting to meet amazing people and enjoy festival time at it’s realest.
Because of all that I can warmly recommend Ajaya’s company that has given us so much and was always perfectly organised.
Ajaya, we thank you from the bottom of our heart for the amazing week we have spent together!

Thank you Ajaya for this great time! Individual,flexible,competent and funny, so i can describe Ajaya. Great heart und great family. He gave us the possibility to see a part of nepal wich is real and lovely. We felt save all the time and i can recommend this agency warmly.
Everything was organized very well,cars,driver,permits,lodges. Our trip: kathmandu,pokhara to najapul by car,trekking from biretandi,thikedunga,ghorepani,poon hill,tadapani,gandruk,biretandi. After we reached pokhara by car and visited Ajayas family in chitwan.Two weeks we will never forget and we came back to switzerland with our hearts enriched.

Fantastic five days spent..

Mustang and Chitwan - the most stunning and interesting places on the planet!

The best thing on the 3 day safari? Six female elephants with their young ones, all about a month or so old. Mustang is like a desert in the midst of Nepali forests - it is beyond description and I'll never forget it.

Visit to Nepal

I had the pleasure to meet Ajaya in Kathmandu and he was a great help organising my stay in the city, including airport transfers and help with securing great accommodation. Ajaya and his staff are super friendly, informative and professional. I will return later in the year and travel with Himalaya Thunder to Tibet where Ajaya will guide my group, provide all the permits, accommodation, pickups etc, full service. If you are looking for a great guiding company for Nepal, India and the Himalayas look no further.

"Ajaya, the man who makes you laugh"

Although I was in Nepal for the fifth time, I was able to gain new experiences with Ajaya and his family. This time there was only a short trek up the Poonhill. Ajaya organized everything neatly. Drive from KTM to Pokhara, "break in" in Pokhara, Ghorepanitrek to Poonhill, drive to his family in Chitwan to the Dashain Festival and return to KTM. Everything was so stress free, peaceful and you really felt like you were part of the family. The lodges during the trek were all carefully selected and were to our taste. The whole thing was so individual, you could change the plan at any time if you wanted. In the evenings we often played Nepal style cards, I rarely laughed so much. Even during the trek, Ajaya was funny and still very competent and was able to convey a lot of interesting facts. The family welcomed us warmly at the Dashain Festival. The girls immediately dressed my wife and Nora in traditional dresses. A big thank you also to Ajaya's wife, always with an enchanting smile on her lips, she cooked us so delicious several times. Even the obligatory goat testicles for the Dashain Festival tasted delicious ..... Best Guide ever, walking with his son!

Definitely recommended! I felt incredibly safe during my Poon Hill trek in November 2013. The trip took 5 days and was full of beautiful experiences, storytelling and lots of smiles from lovely Nepalese!

We spent an incredible week in Langtang Natural Park with an equally incredible guide (Ajaya). He planned all the details of the trek efficiently and always tried to make us have a good time at all times. In addition to being a guide with more than 20 years of experience, he will make you regret his company by his good humor and his humor!
