It is also a way of teaching religion. New energy and new things appear. Shiva Ratri is one of the greatest festivals for Hindus living across the world. It is celebrated in the Pashupatinath temple. Hindus from all part of the world (especially India) come here to celebrate Shiva Ratri. It is celebrated by saint’s (BaBa’s) in the temple. This festival is especially dedicated to lord Shiva. This day children’s block the road with some ropes and ask some money. You can give some amount and they will let you go. These are the reasons why Shiva Ratri is one of the main festivals in Nepal.
